Hello, we are the Freeman family! Three weeks ago, the matriarch of this family, Levieta Freeman, fell ill. She was feeling under the weather, and after spending 17 days in the ICU at the hospital, she never did get to come home. The hospital found a mass on her pancreas. While awaiting testing to determine eligibility for chemo treatment, Levieta suffered four strokes that led to massive damage on the right side of her brain. The last stroke, she never awoke from. She took her last breath on 11/29/2024 at 10:50 AM.

Her husband and remaining foster child are left to navigate the finances. At the present time, there are no funds or insurance to help put this Godly woman to rest. Her husband has already started receiving medical bills as well. We understand funds may be strained during the holiday season, but any amount would help. Any donations will be put towards her final funeral expenses and to assist her living relatives.

Levieta and her husband, Reed Freeman, have been loving foster parents for 12 faithful years, and they both passionately served their community in fostering and other ministries as well.
