Help the Frias Family Honor Ruben's Memory

Hi guys,

My name is Elsa Mercedes Frias. I have the honor and privilege to say I am Ruben Frias' daughter. My father lived in Jackson for 39 years. He was born in Mexico City. He arrived in Jackson at the age of 20. He taught himself English and eventually became a citizen. He was very smart and helped the Latin community in many ways. He had a great sense of humor with a huge heart. He was a great father and an incredible grandfather. Unfortunately, he was diabetic. His feet eventually got cut because of blood circulation and other difficulties.

He was getting better and then on Sunday, July 28th, he had a hemorrhagic stroke. He was rushed to the hospital and then transported to Ermic hospital in Idaho falls. The neurologist said it was fatal and there is nothing that can be done. August 1st he will be taken off life support. He is an organ donor so surgery will be done once pronounced dead. He will be buried in Jackson Wyoming. Anything helps. The Frias family appreciates your love and support during this difficult and tragic time.
