Help the Frozen Tide Get to Nationals

We are the University of Alabama D2 Hockey team, and we are traveling to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to compete in the National Tournament, after earning 3rd place in the College Hockey Federation (CHF) playoff series. Our boys have worked tirelessly, all year, to end the season with a fantastic record of 18-7-1.

We will be playing at the Ice Line rink in West Chester, PA, from March 10th through the 15th. Entering the tournament, we are sat as the 18th seed, and we’re very excited to compete at this level. Hockey is an expensive sport and traveling over 900 miles while also feeding 32 hungry boys costs a lot, and our budget is tight. That is why we need your help. Each of us have already paid $3,500 in dues for the year. Luckily, we were able to get sponsorships and do some fundraising throughout the season, but now is the time that counts. Our goal is to raise $1,500 per player to aid our expenses throughout nationals. This would cover the bus expenses, hotels, team meals, and anything else needed to support us, our coaches, and supporting staff. Anything left after this tournament will transfer over to next season’s budget, therefore you could be helping us for next season as well!
