The devastation

2023 seems to be the year of global wildfires and, sadly, the Gaillard Family, have lost their home and all of their possessions in a sudden wildfire that tore through the small town of Argeles-sur-Mer, France, destroying 500 hectares of land before the fire was quelled. Only a reported 10 homes were burned... but theirs was one of them.

With only enough time to evacuate themselves and their dogs, they lost everything.

Claudine and Manon Gaillard, mother and daughter, now face the devastating aftermath and have to begin the daunting process of rebuilding their home and their lives. Known for their kindness and compassion, they've been pillars of support for others, and now it's our turn to stand by them in their time of need.

We are in shock and completely devastated as our lives have been completely turned upside down in the aftermath of this wildfire. Thankful for our lives, we are in a state of grief as we try to navigate the impossible task of rebuilding our lives. We have lost everything. We are incredibly grateful for any help and support, and we will carry your kindness with us as we rebuild. Thank you.
