Help the Gallego family through Michael's Health Battle

Hello, and thank you for finding this page. I am Antonio, and we are raising funds to help support the Gallego family during their father's fight with severe kidney failure.

In January 2025, Michael, a 38-year-old father of 7, with the 8th due to be born in early February 2025, was diagnosed with IgA Crescentic Nephropathy. In the past month, Michael's health has severely deteriorated, currently having less than 5% kidney function on both kidneys and more than 40% scarring. The doctors have told the family there is nothing they can do. IgA Crescentic Nephropathy is a disease that attacks the kidneys and, in severe cases like Michael's, can cause catastrophic damage. Unfortunately for Michael, a kidney transplant has not been possible due to his rare blood type.

Michael is a loving father who is the sole provider for his family of 8. Because of his prolonged stay at the hospital and uncertain future, the family primarily is asking for prayers, rosaries or Masses said for the family. Everyday expenses like food, gas, bills, and even Michael's medical care have become overwhelming and difficult. Given the severe and dire medical reality that Michael and his family are facing, we are asking that if God puts it in your heart to give financially, we greatly appreciate it. Any amount helps. Please know that the Gallego family is praying for everyone that reads this, makes time to pray for them or is able to give financially.
