Help the Garcia Family Lay Their Newborn to Rest

My brother-in-law, Ryan Garcia, and my sister, Elizabeth Hodges, have two beautiful boys together and were excitedly awaiting the arrival of their third boy. Baby Connor was brought into this world on 5/11/2022 at approximately 7:30 P.M. . Unfortunately, he was immediately faced with major complications. He was not breathing and was rushed by ambulance to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for life-saving procedures. Connor’s heart stopped multiple times en route to the help he needed. When I arrived at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, there were about 30 doctors doing emergency procedures to save his life. 

Connor was eventually moved to the NICU where doctors and nurses continued to do everything in their power to stabilize his heart rate and breathing. After a few hours, they were able to stabilize Connor. At this point, they began doing assessments on the extent of his injuries. About 2:00 A.M., we discovered that Connor had no brain activity. He has since been cared for by his family and tonight, 5/12/2022, they expect Connor to pass away.

This tragic event has broken our hearts. The pain that Ryan and Liz are going through is unfathomable. We created this GoFundMe to help them get some relief from medical expenses and to help lay their baby boy to rest. We greatly appreciate everything the doctors did to try to save his life and we are just as grateful for any donation or support given to the Garcia family.
