Hey everyone! My name is Johana Garcia-Barreno. I am currently a freshman in college currently living in Wilmington, North Carolina. My hometown, Morganton, North Carolina was devastated by Hurricane Helene. My family’s home was flooded and they have lost so much. I have 3 younger siblings, aged 16, 7, and 2.. they need somewhere to continue to grow up. My parents also bake bread for the community and their essential appliances needed to bake the bread are unusable now. They currently do not have water or power in the area and are in need of a place to stay and to rebuild the home, or maybe even find a new one…

Yo estoy en mi primer año de la universidad en Wilmington que está a 5 horas, pero mi familia necesita ayuda! Perdieron tantas cosas preciadas y que se necesitan para vivir.
