Help The Gazics Family During Unexpected Hardship

Hi, my name is Tammy and I am trying to help my niece Hannah and her family as they experience an unexpected hardship. Baby Ashley was born on time and as expected but things took a bit of a turn for the not so great that very evening. She seemed perfect in every way (and really is) except for they noticed that things were not quite right. They determined that she needed to be flown from Eau Claire Mayo to Rochester Mayo for specialty infant care. Once there they determined that during her development there had been issues with the development of her intestines and that they had perforated. This required emergency surgery during which time she was given a colostomy and will be in Rochester for the next 3 months before they can do a follow up surgery to hopefully be able to reverse the colostomy and repair any additional damage that may have occurred.

Unfortunately, this means many hardships for the whole family - from child care for their 2 other children, to being off from work to care for Ashley in Rochester - all things that no family plans for truly. Especially in this case were they were under the impression that her development was right on track.
