Help The Ghabayens Evacuate, Survive and Rebuild Their Lives

Dear Friends and Community,

My name is Yara Ghabayen and I'm fundraising for my dear uncle Kahmis and his family. We hope with your help we are able to offer funds for evacuation and necessities such as food, water and temporary housing under these unimaginable times.

under this violent aggression, we've lost our family home. This building housed more than three generations of the Ghabayen family. with it, we've also suffered the loss of my uncles workshop and his families main source of income. They have been constantly displaced since the beginning of this Aggression and are now temporarily living in a corner store, surrounded by the destruction and no real safety as the violence continues. This area, now considered the north of Gaza has been blocked and starved as food and water are extremely scarce. Time is of the essence and we are desperately seeking mutual aid to lessen their suffering.

My uncle is the Youngest of 10, closest to my father. They've been inseparable since birth. As the youngest, he's known to be a rascal that my dad jokingly dragged to go to school for 7 years and my mother describing as the silliest most playful uncle. Despite that , my uncle has grown to become an extremely talented and bright Artist in his craft. His woodwork and carpentry are unparalleled on the block. He inspired me to be the artist I am today. We grew up aside his kids with open doors between our houses. I consider them my siblings and their mother my mom too. they were never short on hospitality and to them I owe my fondest childhood memories.

My uncle Kahmis Ghabayen and His wife Mona Ghabayen (Al Hattab), Their children, Nada (28), Yosuf (27), Marwa (25), Rawan (22), Razan (19) and Ronza (17). Yosufs' wife Yasmin (20) and their child Mona (4months).
