As part of our commitment to serving our community and promoting the goal of ensuring that children have the opportunity to further their education, our chapter has embarked on a project to support Abeadze State College, a secondary school in the Central Region of Ghana. This is part 2 of a donation campaign that began in 2022

We are raising funds to help the school complete the upgrading of their classroom block, their dining hall, and Home Economics facilities and need your support.

Our chapter raised $2,000 (approximately GHS 27,000) at an event held in Accra in December and we are seeking to raise an additional $5,000 to complete the project.
Below is a list of the proposed uses of the funds:
Cost Breakdown
- For the six-unit classroom: Ten dining tables and sixty chairs - GHS 25,000.00
For the Home Economics department: Oven, two-burner stove, Fridge, Deep freezer, Cylinder, Hose, Regulator, Doughnut maker, Cake mixer, Sewing
machine, and Scissors. - GHS 36,265.00
A projector: GHS 4,000.00
Two Water Pumps. - GHS 18,000.00
The total budget is GHS 83,265, which is approximately $6,172. We intend to use the remaining $800 to handle cost overruns and to pay for the event at which we will present the items to the school.
We seek to raise the funds by July 30th, acquire the items by September 1st and to make the donation in November as part of the activities surrounding our upcoming district conference hosted in Accra.
Your contribution and support will change the lives of many kids.
