Relapse For Matthew Gibbons

Donation protected
Once again I reach out to a community that has been so generous with helping out the Gibbons family while Matthew went through his cancer treatments for seven months , It is with great sadness that I reach out once again for help with funding to help Matthew and his family deal with the heavy financial burden of dealing with yet another treatment for his lymphoma relapse. Below is heart felt message from the Gibbons family.
Please help me take some of their financial worries away.
I wish I could share with you all that this September he is getting ready to go back to school, start a new season of hockey, and get back to being a normal 15 year old, but that isn’t the case.

It is with such heaviness in my heart that I share with everyone, who rooted so hard for Matthew’s recovery, that his cancer has returned. What his oncologist refers to as a relapse.

We will be heading back to Children’s hospital where Matthew will need more intensive inpatient chemotherapy as well as a stem cell transplant. We don’t have all the details on his full treatment plan until we get there next week but have been told we will be there for about 5 months depending on how his body responds to treatment.

I cannot even begin to tell you all the emotions that we are feeling, but I can tell you I have seen Matthew’s strength. He is a warrior, a champion, and most importantly, he is a fighter.
