Help the Gillilands Focus on Family, Not Finances

I'm Kirsten, a friend of the Gilliland family since our kids were friends at Richfield STEM a decade or so ago.
Nick & Adeana's youngest son, Louie, was badly burned on Friday night (4/21) at home, and was rushed to the HCMC trauma ward and routed to the burn unit where he is currently recovering. He's alert and moving (and a subdued version of his funny and cool self), but in a lot of pain, tied to a lot of tubes and wires in a hospital bed, and everyone is in a holding pattern waiting to see how bad the 11% of his body that is covered in 2nd degree burns really turns out to be for long-term recovery. Optimistically, they are looking at 3-6 weeks of medical care, physical therapy, and health monitoring; worst case is going to be months of surgery and the recoveries that come with that.
Both parents have been at his bedside and coordinating Louie's brother, Henry, their dogs, and life needs throughout the weekend. But tomorrow (Monday) Nick is going back to his new job that he's so excited about, but hasn't built up much for PTO or sick leave just yet. Adeana has also been working outside the home, but her job is hourly pay, so if she's not there, she does not get paid. Not even considering the medical costs we don't know yet, they are looking at regular monthly bills that need to be paid without their regular monthly income in addition to gas to/from their home 40 minutes from the doctors and coffee and food while the house cook stays near her son.
So I'm starting this modestly to just help them be able to focus on Louie and now on how soon or how much they need to get back to work. They need to be with their son as he heals, and I would be so honored and grateful if you help me give my friend that peace of mind to think of their family over their finances for as long as we can help.
