Help the Girls Rebuild After Losing Everything
Donation protected
Shortly after 12 pm on 04/07/2022, Kerri Sparkman, Cheyenne Holloway, and Lacee Carpenter received a phone call informing them that their home in Mount Calm was on fire. Four dogs (two of which were service dogs for Cheyenne and Lacee), one cat, and six baby chicks beneath a heat lamp were trapped inside. All pets and belongings in the house were lost and completely destroyed. Kerri, Cheyenne, and Lacee are left now with nothing but the clothes on their backs and the few remaining outside pets that survived. The girls were each at work when the fire started and we are so thankful that they are safe and sound. Kerri works in the Pharmacy at Brookshire Brothers, Lacee works at Happy Hounds, and Cheyenne just recently graduated from the MCC Fire Academy and is actively working on getting her EMT certification while simultaneously holding down a job at Atwood's. While we thank God that the girls are safe, they are now starting completely over and are in serious need of help. They did not have Renter's insurance and will not be reimbursed for all of their items that were lost. I pray that you would please consider making a monetary donation to these women who have lost everything and are trying to figure out where to start to rebuild. You may or may not know these women personally, but these women are mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, and friends. They have been working so hard on their careers for a better future for themselves and this is a major, crushing blow of a setback. If you are not comfortable with giving a monetary donation, we are also gathering clothing, toiletries, grocery store gift cards, restaurant gift cards, dog food, cat food, and chicken feed for their surviving animals. I will post clothing sizes below:
Kerri: XL shirts, Large or Size 11 pants, size 9 1/2 shoes
Cheyenne: Size Small shirts, either 28/32 or 29/32 in men's jeans, or 14/16 in boys shorts, and a 7 or 7 1/2 in men's shoes
Lacee: Size small shirts, small in shorts and sweat pants, and a 25 or 0 in jeans, and a size 5 1/2 or 6 in shoes
