Help the Glover family with medical expenses

Ashley and Ryan along with their twins Maddy and Wyatt Glover (age 6) are facing what no other family wants to face, Ryan has kidney disease and is now facing kidney failure.
The discovery of the disease came in 2020 when Ryan suffered a stroke at the young age of 34. It has left lasting weakness that he is working to bounce back from (which has caused him to be off work since the spring of 2020). Fast forward to 2021, diet changes, lifestyle changes, testing, medications and sadly his kidneys are only functioning at 15%, and doctors have said they are at the end of their lives.
Ryan isn’t able to receive optimal treatment due to also having undiagnosed heart problems, which require further testing. This has been delayed to the end of November 2021 due to our current health crisis that has impacted our hospitals. In a twist of awful fate doctors have advised he go on dialysis now to survive, so the family must act fast and accept the earliest possible appointments whenever they can.
This initial heart/kidney testing, and treatment will require Ryan to be in Edmonton for possibly 6 weeks at first, depending on the type of dialysis being used. He also is not guaranteed he will be able to do dialysis at home in Fort McMurray. We all await this news anxiously.
Unfortunately, Ryan’s life saving emergency medications are not covered by the medical insurance they each have. They have exhausted all resources in the community to help alleviate the financial burden. The disability payments alone mean they can barely keep their heads above water and put food on the table (Ryan requires a very specific diet in addition to the family meals) and it is leaving them in constant arrears to pay bills, get the necessary medications, and living expenses for themselves and their children.
Any supports will help them obtain for Ryan, proper lodging, meals, transportation to and from medical appointments, and help with the unforeseen costs associated with his health concerns.
Travelling to Edmonton is something common to Ryan and Ashley because Wyatt and Maddy both have many underlying health conditions that require they stay monitored by the Stollery Children’s Hospital. This is due to a premature birth and cranial surgery for Wyatt. Maddie suffered scarring in her lungs and seizures because the home they used to own had black mold and they lost their life savings getting out of it.
They are just trying to survive and are now faced with more obstacles, where they are overwhelmed and feel so defeated. Their families and friends have gone above and beyond, but the strain is impacting everyone financially and mentally.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts to help the Glover family continue to fight this horrible disease and pray they are able to find a kidney match to save his life.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you’re not able to assist financially that’s understandable, help share and say a little prayer this family overcomes the battles they are facing.
