Help The Grand Trunk!

Donation protected

Our dear friend Alison Barrie (owner of The Grand Trunk and The Queens End cafe and emporium) is the latest victim of neighbourhood break-ins.

This morning The Grand Trunk was broken into and the losses are quite severe. The cost to replace the window alone was $650. The person got away with approximately $500 in cash, an iPad which is essential to running the bar, around $200 in alcohol and broke the till, which will need to be replaced. Ali is one of the hardest working and caring people I know and the losses of this break-in are devastating to her, financially and emotionally. I know times are tough for everyone, but if you’re able to spare any amount it would be so so appreciated. Small businesses just aren’t set up to take this kind of loss.
