Help the Green Mountain Softball League Complex

Hi everyone! I'm Tyler Blanchard, Treasurer for the Green Mountain Softball League here in Chester, Vermont. As I know everyone remembers, a short 5 months ago our state was completely ravaged by rain storms all over the state that caused catastrophic damage. Our softball complex was one of the many victims of the damage caused, and I would be lying if I said that going there once the water receded and saw all the damage it caused, that I wasn't taken aback by what I saw. Our bathroom building was lifted up and completely shifted, our office, concession stand and garage all suffered extensive damage, and both of the fields were destroyed, to the point that the Springfield Rec. Department allowed us to finish our season in Springfield, along with playing our fall ball Co-ed league there as well. Over the summer and fall, we had actually begun trying to repair what we could at the complex, but after the storm we received today, there's no way to tell if all the work we put in was worth it or not.

I've created this gofundme page to get the word out to the local community, as well as our softball community at large. Something I'm not sure many may be aware of, but we also share our complex with the Green Mountain High School Varsity & Junior Varsity programs, so not only does it affect our league, but it also affects our partners at Green Mountain. We are asking for anything you can share, no matter how big or small. Every little bit helps, and hopefully we can restore our complex and keep the Green Mountain Softball League thriving for many years to come.
