Greenstein &Hartmann Family Fund for Marshall Fire
Donation protected
My name is Jenee Steffens and I live in Denver, CO. I am fundraising on behalf of my Uncle Guy Greenstein, his Fiancé Lori, and her daughter Grace. On December 30th, 2021 they lost their home in the Coal Creek Ranch neighborhood to the Marshall Fire. My Uncle Guy bought his first house in the Coal Creek Ranch neighborhood in the 1990's where he raised his 2 children, Bailey and Joel. This past summer after having left the neighborhood for a couple of years, Guy and Lori returned to the neighborhood and bought their dream house in the original neighborhood that has always felt like home.
I am reaching out to my community because I’ve witnessed my Uncle helping so many people get their lives back after personal tragedies. As a lawyer, he has always put human compassion over his monetary success. Lori spends her time as a life coach, empowering women daily, and setting an example for her only child Grace, who is in 8th grade this year. Guy and Lori are altruistic in their nature, and now, at this point in time, they need help! With 100+ MPH winds spreading the Marshall Fire’s flames, they only had time to save their dogs, Finn and Lucy, and their family photos that contain irreplaceable memories. Besides that, they lost everything.
Guy and Lori recently learned that insurance will only cover half the amount they were originally promised for living expenses. On top of that, they were told insurance may not cover all of the rebuild due to inflation and low balling the cost of the square footage. It is a very real possibility that Guy and Lori will be out a substantial amount of money when all is said and done.
Any donations, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. All funds will go directly towards closing the gap of what insurance will not cover for the rebuilding of their home and their lives.

Thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart for helping my Uncle, Lori, and Grace in their time of need.
