Help the Gurung family with medical expenses
Donation protected
On the 14th of February Dash Gurung, the 10 year old son of Dupendra and Joanna, and little brother to Daniel was involved in an accident while visiting friends.
Dash was rushed to Royal Children's where he underwent surgery. The family have made a mad journey to Melbourne leaving everything in their wake in Albury such as family, appointments and work to be by Dash's side in what will be a long recovery.
Currently, Dash is in great hands and prayers around the world are contributing to the positive mindset and strong faith that the family and their friends hold for Dash's recovery.
It is with this in mind that we ask the greater community to contribute in the smallest way possible, by way of making a donation, which may assist the family with commuting between Melbourne and Albury and for other small financial burdens they will encounter along the way.
The Gurung family moved to Albury after a few years ago and are heavily involved with the community. Dash's dad, Dupendra works shift work along with playing for Albury United O/35's as well as coaching the under 16 Boys. Both Dash and Daniel play for United and mum Joanna serves on the committee. This family have put a lot of work into our great club, for the very short time they have been in Albury, through their assistance as mentioned above, as well as working with the Nepalese Community for the betterment of football within the community.
Thank you on behalf of Albury United Soccer Club for your contribution to the family.
