We are so grateful for your contributions to ensure they have the resources to navigate the next steps in this unforeseen tragedy. At their request, we are going to end this campaign so that others who are in need can receive donations. Aloha! My name is Jackie and I'm starting this fundraising effort to help my cousin and her family rebuild after losing their home to the devastating wildfires that impacted Lahaina and their residents. My cousin, Kaui, and her husband, Isaiah, are from Oahu and Maui respectively and have two little children, 3 and 18 months. They have spent the last year building their home for their growing family and were eagerly looking forward to moving into it this month.

However, due to the wildfires that ravaged Lahaina, they left their burning neighborhood with just the clothes on their back. All are safe and accounted for; my cousin and the children were fortunate to make their way to Oahu to stay with family and friends, but her husband is a Maui Firefighter and it looks like he won't be able to leave anytime soon. My cousin needs help while her husband helps care for others who are impacted and recovering from these wildfires on his home island.
