Help the Haftmann Family

A huge thank you for the outpouring of love, kind wishes and support! Since we have exceeded the goal set in just a few hours the Haftmann Family have decided to close the fundraiser. A huge thank you to all!! What a beautiful community we are all part of!

Sadly on the evening of Saturday, October 28, 2023 Chris Haftmann was driving home and got into a serious car accident. He is currently in the ICU at Baystate Medical Center and will have to undergo a multitude of surgeries. Chris is a husband to Carly Haftmann and a father of four beautiful children. He is a life long resident of Granville, Ma and both him and Carly are alumni of Southwick Schools. Chris and Carly's children are students in the Southwick School system and both of them play HUGE roles in our community. Chris volunteers the little spare time he has coaching the numerous sports for his children and all of our own children. Carly volunteers for different events in the schools as well. This family needs our healing thoughts, prayers and help. The financial burden is the last thing Carly and the family need to worry about at this time. Southwick has always been a strong community that comes together in the face of trials and tribulations and I know we can do that now for the Haftmann family. Any donation helps; nothing is too big or too small. The money raised will be used for medical bills, food to feed the family, gas to get Carly to and from Baystate Hospital, childcare and much more. We are much more than a town, we are a community and I ask that we please show this family how amazing living in the Southwick/Granville/Tolland region is, how much love and support they have and how much we have truly appreciate having them as an important part of our community.
