Hi everyone,
Sammi was diagnosed with FND in November after loss of feeling and movement in her body. Physio helped to get her walking again, but She continued to have chronic pain, swollen lymph nodes, muscle twitches, fatigue and numbness in the face. By chance She saw a post from a tourist site she visited 11 months before She got sick warning about lymes disease. After looking into it She found that all of her symptoms were matching a late stage of lyme, unfortunately She didn't know to look out for the early symptoms after travelling. Sure enough a blood test confirmed this.

This disease is recognised internationally but unfortunately not in Australia as they've found no ticks that carry the disease here. Sammi and her family are a young family with mortgage, and a 3 year old daughter. Unfortunately Sammi can not work, finds it hard to sometimes care for her 3 year old and manage to take care of day to day chores in the house. Her husband Dan has been working long hours to try and pay the bills, while juggling the house and looking after their 3 year old. They also have to try and find the money for Sammi to get overseas to get the treatment she needs. 

please help us raise the funds need to get Sammi the help she needs so she can continue living a normal life and get back to work.
