Help the Hedgehogs Robotics Team get to Worlds!
Donation protected
We are the Hedgehogs FIRST Robotics Team #587, comprised of bright, talented, diverse, hard-working, and dedicated students and mentors from Orange High School and Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough, NC. We are very proud to share that on April 10th, we led our alliance to win the 2022 FIRST North Carolina State Championship, earning us the incredible opportunity to compete in the FIRST Robotics World Championships in Houston, Texas April 20-23!
We would be so grateful if you would consider supporting our time-sensitive fundraising efforts to get us to Worlds! We created this robot as a team and with your help, we want to ensure we may have the honor of our team all experiencing Worlds together!
FIRST Worlds Championship is a culminating, international event for our youth robotics competition season and an annual celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) for our community as we prepare our young people for the future. A very high percentage of FIRST Robotics students go on to pursue degrees and careers in STEM fields.
Thank you in advance for any support you can give! Any size donation is greatly appreciated. All donations will be transferred to Vickie Moore as the beneficiary, who is a lead adult mentor for our team and making all of the logistical travel arrangements for The Hedgehogs Team #587 to go to Houston. Donations will be used to meet all financial needs of our team as well as paying for airfare, hotel, and other necessary expenses for the team.
If you would like to be a corporate sponsor, please reach out directly to our other lead adult mentor, Nina Daye. Our team website is https://www.team587.org/ if you'd like to read more about us. GO HEDGEHOGS!!!
