Help Gaza children to obtain therapy and rehabilitation

My name is Dr.Ilham Lubbad and I have a master degree in physiotherapy specialty in neuromuscular disorders and its surgery. We are medical teams (rehabilitation/therapeutic) specialized in intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation for children/kids, every team consist of physiotherapists, occupational therapist, psychologist, speech therapist and teaching/ cognition therapist and we hope that everyone in the world will help us reach the world.
After the start of the war last October, it caused complete paralysis - ceased of all the necessities of life, including workers who were trying to get some money to treat their children who mainly suffer from disabilities and cerebral palsy but what made the matter worse was the many cases caused by the war on children, as the number of children who were injured by the war reached about 35,000 injured kids .
The rate of fractures, amputations, spinal cord and brain injuries for children exceeds 50-60%, in addition to cases of cerebral palsy in all its forms, which were at a high rate due to the war environment and malnutrition.
This treatment that children need must be periodically and continuously to complete treatment plans, especially cases of post fracture impairments, amputation, cerebral palsy, and disabled children/kids, which used to last for months and perhaps years, to complete plans specifically for cases of cerebral palsy for children and children who had severe head injuries, which increases the burdens of people in poor living conditions .
We have 4 treatment centers specialized in intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation for children (Specialized Kids Clinic for intensive physical therapy for children, and Elite Medical Center), spread throughout the Gaza Strip, but the war destroy the means of treatment and health in society in the Gaza Strip, as Khan Yunis branch was completely destroyed , and Gaza City branch _ Al-Rimal Elite Medical Center was almost completely destroyed, and Gaza Al-Nasr branch was destroyed by more than 60% and middle Governorate branch by more than 45%, which made us turn to treating children in their places of displacement and tents that were not originally qualified for such treatment, so as not to cause complications for the children that would affect them in the future. But we were forced to do so, and unfortunately all families, without exception, suffer greatly from the lack of financial ability to treat their children due to the conditions that the people of Gaza Strip are experiencing.
Children with cerebral palsy and children who have been exposed to fractures, head injuries and spinal cord injuries need intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation, so that the price of a treatment session in the Gaza Strip reaches 8.45$CAD. The cost of transportation to the doctor to reach the children is estimated at 2.6$CAD, so that the price of a treatment session with transportation for one child reaches 11.05$CAD. For one treatment session per child. The cost of treating one child per month is
11.05$CAD * 30 day = 331.5$CAD.
The number of children who need intensive physical therapy services is estimated at more than 2,000 children, 2000 * 331.5$CAD = 663,000 $CAD.
Donate as much as you can to save as many children suffering from war as possible.
This treatment will begin after reaching an amount that will help us employ doctors and deliver them to the places where children are located in their places of displacement.
This support will be directed to treating children mainly in their places of displacement until the end of the war. All treatment will be documented and published on our social media pages. Then with your support and fund when the institution/center will be restored/ rebuild, children will be received the best therapeutic services in the institution which specialized in intensive physical therapy and rehabilitation for children will be provided, The doors of the centers will be opened after their restoration to treat children and alleviate the suffering of the families for several months freely.
We hope that everyone who sees this appeal will help us reach the whole world and help us in this humanitarian mission, primarily to treat the marginalized group in the Gaza Strip who suffer greatly from the scourges of this war.

- All services, assessment, rehabilitation and therapeutic sessions which the child needs in displacement places during war.
- Restored/ rebuild the medical centers - (Specialized Kids Clinic for intensive physical therapy for children (3 branches) , and Elite Medical Center), So that he estimates the cost of restoring the institution is 130,000 $CAD.
- Rearranged and buy the therapeutic equipment and devices needs for allow/ give good cervices for kids rehabilitation.
- Buy assistive devices which needs and determined post child/kids evaluation as; (wheelchair, elbow and axillary crutches, orthosis, canes, walkers ….etc.)
- Around 25,000$CAD covering GoFundMe transaction fees
(2.9% + 0.30$ per transaction ).
So with your help and donation, the child will receive all cervices/ treatment needs during and after war end at our medical centers.
