Help the Hemingway Family Through This Tragic Loss

This GoFundMe is being submitted on behalf of the Hemingway family by several of Jaime and Bruce’s friends.

On the morning of Thursday, September 12th, 2024, Bruce Hemingway was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately, by the end of the day, just before 10 pm, Bruce passed away at the hospital surrounded by loved ones.

Bruce leaves behind his wife Jaime, daughter Briana (currently stationed in Hawaii with her husband in the military), sons Alex and Hunter, and their dog Ollie. On a personal note, Jaime was my babysitter for over a decade to 4 of my children, as well as several of her friends' children. Jaime was a rock to my family in that decade and cared for my children so well; however, I think the best part of their day was when Bruce would come home from work. They loved playing with him; a big kid who let them steal his food and played with them.

Jaime and her family rely on Bruce’s income as well as her babysitting income. There is no telling when Jaime will be able to open the doors again, as she is dealing with the loss of her husband, her children's father, her partner. For this reason, this GoFundMe was created and the funds will be used to help with funeral expenses, medical expenses, bills, food, and of course, the children and Ollie.
