Help the hero, Tammi Johnsen!

On Friday September 22, 2023 My mom was involved in an accident at the Brunswick Flea Market, where a motor vehicle smashed into the building injuring Tammi as it tore into the building striking her as she reacted quickly to save and protect her friends 2 year old grandson in her normal caring, loving and inspirational way. My mom is and will always be a hero for her quick instinct to protect this precious little one.

It was approximately 11:20am on September 22, 2023 a motor vehicle accident occurred where a truck tore through the open garage door at the Flea Market striking Tammi, injuring her, destroying her business and also killing her King Charles puppy Tucker.

Many First Responders and the first people on the scene can be credited to their actions of help us to get mom out of the building and to receive the medical care that she needed.

My mom was originally transported to Mora Hospital and then she was transferred to North Memorial hospital.

Mom has a shattered L1 Vertebrae which she is going to be fitted for a brace to see if she can heal on her own at this time and pray for no surgery. It will be a road to recovery and a healing process. But all of us that know and love her realize how strong she is. We all believe with love, prayers and support know that she will recover from this.

She will hopefully get to come home in a couple days, even possibly by tomorrow.

Right now due to uncertain time frame, or how bad the damage to the Flea Market which is my moms livelihood, it will be closed until further notice.

We will continue to pray and update as much as possible.

Any and all volunteer help for the store or monetary assistance we can make arrangements for in the days and weeks to follow. As we know bills for medical and the store will start to occur.  Due to this incident and the store being closed and her need of time to heal she will have no source of income, so any and all donations would be greatly appreciated to help alleviate some of that stress.
