Help the Herzogs start over

Anna, Ryan and Lily Herzog lost their home in hurricane Ian. Anna has been my best friend for over 30 years. To know Anna is to love her. She is married to a man who truly is a better man than most. Lily is grounded, smart and kind. They also have 2 adult children, Michael and Casey, both of whom are also impacted by this loss. The Herzog’s are a family of faith, community and charity. They strive to live the word of Jesus and in doing so, they lift everyone around them

After surviving breast cancer Anna and her family decided that time is precious and waiting until someday to live the life you desire was no longer a good plan. Anna’s family has deep roots in Englewood, Florida and so they decided to sell their home in Watertown, Minnesota and relocate. For the past five years they have been living and loving beach life at its best. They found a house and built a home. They found community in their Box Church and their town. To loose the home they created and many of the physical memories of their lives together is devastating.

They are going to need so much to rebuild, but they will also need resources to help others. Their physical community was destroyed, but their faith community remains intact. They ask that you please pray for them or simply hold their wellbeing and their community’s wellbeing in your heart.
