Helping the Hills Family Rebuild After the Juneau Flood

Our friends, Lexi and Andrew Hills, need our help! In the recent flood here in Juneau, their home and vehicles were severly damaged. The whole first floor of their home was under multiple feet of water. This resulted in the loss of an overwhelming amount of possessions and immediate action to mitigate future damage to their house.

The Hills family is facing a long and challenging road to recovery. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them rebuild their lives. They are treasured dance group members, loved clan members, and dear members of their congregation.

Your generous support will help cover:

Essential household items, like toiletries, groceries, kidsʼ stuff, baby supplies. They lost the contents of their freezer. ($2,000+)
Repairs or rebuilding of their home. All the drywall, flooring, fixtures, and doors of the first floor are damaged. Appliances are totaled. Support is needed now as they are following expert advice to prevent future damage and mold infestation. ($10,000+)
Replacement of vehicles. At least two vehicles are totaled.
Childcare expenses. The Hillʼs have four children, including new baby Waylon. All of their outdoor gear, homeschooling supplies, personal hygiene products, and many outdoor toys were lost. ($2,000+)
And other unexpected costs. They lost valuable personal items, priceless items like wedding and military service photos, and are trying to save heirlooms such as regalia.
