Help The Holguin Family During This Time Of Grief

John Holguin was a hard-working husband and father that loved his family with every fiber of his being.  He worked tirelessly as an employee of The Santa Cruz County Public Works Department.  Prior to this, he spent 6 years in The California Conservation Corps. John spent many joy-filled years supporting his children, Ashley and Lucas, as they engaged in soccer, wrestling, and football.  John was a loving and kind husband to his wife Norma who has worked many years in the Live Oak School District. He grew up in Soledad and continued to always be a devoted son to his parents.  John recently accomplished a lifelong goal of purchasing a forever home, in Watsonville,  for his beautiful family.   

John passed away unexpectedly on February 5th, after a 4 week battle with cancer.  He has left a giant hole in the hearts of those that knew him.  Any support for the family is appreciated,  as they grieve the sudden loss of their strong patriarch.
