Help the Homeless at Christmas (Brighton)
Donation protected
With your help, I'm aiming to make 30 survival packs for the homeless living in Brighton and hand them out this December.
With the seasons changing, weather getting colder, Covid-19 and Christmas around the corner, I feel its more important than ever to try and help out. There are more than 280,000 people homeless in the UK alone [according to https://england.shelter.org.uk/].
Depending on how much money is raised will depend on what I can put in these survival packs. My hope is that there will be enough raised so I can include a big variety of essentials that will not only help them survive the cold, harsh winter we normally see in December by the seaside but also help bring some positivity to there day to daily lives.
Here are some of the things I would like to include in these packs:
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste
- Thermal Gloves
- Thermal & Cotton Socks
- Banket
- Re-Usable Water Bottle
- Hat
- Scarf
- Wet Wipes
- Playing Cards
- Torch
- Notepad & Pen
- Crackers
- Breakfast Bars
- Chewing Gum
- Lip Balm
- Deodorant
- Toilet Roll
- Rice Pudding
- Tinned Fruit
- Tampons
- Face Masks
All in a long-life zip-up shopping bag, so it can be transported easily.
If anyone would like to donate any of these items, please email me so I can send you my address: [email redacted]
Any help you can possibly give is greatly appreciated, even if its not a donation but a share of the fundraiser.
Thank you all,
Tom x
