Help the Homeless of Yuba City
Hello! The homeless population in Yuba City needs our help! In a KCRA report, up to 1,100 individuals were considered homeless in 2017. Due to COVID, this number has skyrocketed over the past two years. We would like to collect donations on behalf of Hands of Hope in order to help the homeless buy necessities such as toilet paper, paper towels, feminine products, tissues, diapers, garbage bags, bottled water, ground coffee, creamer, sugar, individually packaged snacks, 8 oz. styrofoam cups, Cup of Soup Instant Lunch, plastic utensils, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shaving gel, combs, razors, nail files and clippers, hotel size items, deodorant, and clothing. With your donations, we can help the homeless acquire the basic human comforts of warmth, health, safety, and cleanliness.
Last year we were able to collect over $250 for the homeless population! This money was then used towards hygiene packages which were distributed by the Hands of Hope organization. These packages consisted of toothbrushes, toothpaste, handmade masks, socks, water bottles, hand sanitizer, and snacks.
