Help the Hoover Family's exposure to toxic mold.

My name is Camille Kazmierczak. I have started this Go Fund Me for this beautiful family, the Hoovers: Kim, David, their daughters Jessica and Amanda, their granddaughter Olivia, as well as their son, Matthew.

They have been on a quest for the last several years to find the cause of Olivia’s medical issues since she was a very young toddler. It wasn’t until her integrative pediatric specialist posed the question of possible mold exposure that they even considered that. (For years the entire family has been suffering from various unexplained illnesses, as well).

Ultimately, they did find mold issues in the house, and were told there was also mold in both air handlers, upstairs and downstairs. Mold spores had been spewing all over their home. There is no telling how long they have been breathing in all the mycotoxins coming from them.

Olivia has been in a constant and unrelenting flare-up from brain inflammation since September of this year. When the family learned of all this, they knew they had to get her out as quickly as possible, as well as the rest of the family who have been suffering from symptoms including brain fog, memory loss, severe exhaustion, constant headaches, asthma, anxiety, and depression, among others.

They are in the process of selling their home to get out right away. They found an investor within a week, even after disclosing the mold. The loss on the house and all of their belongings are hard for the family, but Olivia’s health (and their own) is their number one priority. They have been able to quickly find a house to rent and are in the final few weeks of moving completely out and disposing of most everything they own. They are starting from scratch in setting up this new home, minus all of their treasured keepsakes and even most of their clothes and furniture and so much more. Due to the nature of this they cannot chance bringing any mold spores into their new home.

The family is facing continuous and mounting medical bills just from Olivia with her specialist, her tests, and all of the expensive supplements and medicines she has been having to take. It is a continuous process of trying what works. Jessica is beginning to see her doctor to start detoxing, as well. Kim and Amanda have not had the time to even begin the process yet. These types of practitioners do not accept health insurance so it is all out of pocket in what they are facing as they begin the detoxing process.

Olivia’s specialist is hopeful that because of her age she can make a comeback from this brain inflammation, even though obvious damage has been done. Jessica’s asthma is irreversible, but all of the family are hopeful as they start their lives over in a safe place and begin detoxing and trying to heal from everything they have been going through.

This family I have known for at least 29 years. I met them at St Ann's Catholic Church in Smithfield NC and their love for God and Family and Friends is and has been very inspiring to our Family and so many other Families. This family is very humble and would never ask for help. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I heard this. I have used Go Fund Me before and always thought what a great way to reach out for help.

They are suffering and any amount will add up and help them and is a gift of love and charity. If you cannot donate then I ask if you could keep them in your prayers.
