Help The Hulsey’s Bring Their Miracle Home

Hello everyone! We are Heather and Chez Hulsey and we are on a journey to fulfill our dream of becoming parents…. Again!! Our path to parenthood has been filled with unexpected twists and turns, but we firmly believe that everything happens for a reason.

Before we even knew about our infertility struggles, we felt a calling from God to make a difference. I think from an early age I always knew that I was called to adopt. I had no idea what that would look like, but I imagined it would be overseas. Fast forward a few years later and I am beginning my first year teaching. I had no idea how much our lives would soon change. I prayed over my class list and waited eagerly to meet them. Stephanie captured our hearts immediately. After getting to know her and her story we knew God was calling us to open our hearts and home to her, and she has brought immeasurable joy and blessings into our lives! She is now 12 years old, and we are beyond grateful for the beautiful family we have!

However, our desire to expand our family still burns brightly within us.

As many of you know Chez and I have already undergone one round of IVF, where 17 eggs were retrieved. It was heartbreaking to learn that we lost all but one of those precious eggs. We transferred that one remaining embryo with hope in our hearts, but unfortunately, it was not successful. Though we are heartbroken, we firmly believe that God has a plan for us!

Now, as we embark on another round of IVF, we want to invite you to be a part of our puzzle piece fundraiser. We have purchased a 1000 piece puzzle, and will be “selling” each puzzle piece for $15. Once you purchases piece we will write your name on the back. You may choose to purchase more than one and add a message if you’d like. Once the puzzle is complete we will hang it in a double sided glass frame for the nursery.

By purchasing a puzzle piece, you will not only be contributing to our IVF journey, but you will also become a symbol of support and love in our journey to expand our family!
