Help the Huneycutt Family Fight Children’s Cancer

The Huneycutt family, who are an important part of the Orlando and Jewish community, are in need of our help. Evelyn, their youngest daughter, is a spunky little 4 year old beautiful girl who was admitted Monday night to the Orlando hospital where she was diagnosed with Children’s Leukemia (ALL). We are all hopeful and confident they will make it through this struggle with the strong family, friends, and medical staff around them, including her three strong big brothers.

They still need our help though and I’m asking for the community that they’ve been a part of for so long to come together for Evelyn.

Despite her blood counts being extremely low and requiring transfusion, a hard time getting a central line to start chemo and lots of other scary new things for the family along the way, Evelyn has been very brave and stayed the same happy sweet girl we have all grown to love.

The family is currently at the Advent Health Orlando for children who have been amazing. It will be their home away from home on their journey these next few years including the next 6 months of intensive chemo followed by 2 years of continued treatment and testing. They are not sure what the next few years may truly be like and are fighting to make the most of every single day!

We are fighting to help give Evelyn and her family the support they need to get through it. These funds will go towards helping them keep Evelyn happy, comfortable, and entertained during her stressful time. It will also go towards helping the family with meals, bills, and unknown expenses along the way so they can focus on being there for their daughter and sister’s journey back to health.

This process is a costly one that is tolling on the entire family, even one as loved and supported as theirs. While they are all pushing through a smile to keep Evelyn’s spirits high, I know that Britney and Kyle are fighting on the inside to be strong parents for their child, family, and community. I put this page together to ask a caring community to help make a difference for a beautiful, inspirational, and loving little girl who may not know it but needs our help now more than ever.
