Update: Dale had his first appointment at the heart clinic. The cardiologist there is increasing the dose on some of his medications and putting him on some new ones as well. She is planning to consult with a more aggressive surgical team to see if they agree with the previous teams opinion that bypass surgery is too risky and of no benefit. If it's not, then they will look at giving him a VAD. The cardiologist would like to try and keep his own heart going as long as possible and look at a transplant down the road. She would like him to walk for at least 30 mins a day. We have to monitor him for fluid retention etc..
