Help the Iayan Family Rebuild Their Lives
Donation protected
This campaign is to help my friends, the Iayan family in Gaza:
Abdallah Iayan
Ameer Iayan
Shreen Iayan
Shimaa Iayan
Lian Iayan
Ahmed Iayan
Mohamed Iayan
They are in truly dire circumstances and need immediate cash relief. I hope in this moment of crisis we can come together and help my friends get the food, water, medicine, and shelter they have been deprived of. They are doing everything they can to survive. If you want to see how exactly your money is being used, you can follow updates on this GoFundMe on how this money is helping and proof of it being transferred. The sponsor of this campaign is Hannah Passey based on the United States. I will now include the Iayan family story from the words of 8 year old Lian:
To my dear friends and kind-hearted people, I am Lian from northern Gaza. I am 8 years old. I used to live in peace with my family members, which consist of 9 members: my mother, father, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and me.
I was living safely in our beautiful house and going to school. My dream was to become a doctor. But the occupation destroyed all our lives and dreams. We were displaced more than 7 times since the beginning of the 7th of October. We left everything behind us. We only took the clothes we had on us. Not only that, it destroyed our house and demolished the part of our life.
We now live in a tent. As long as my father worked hard to build this house, my father’s small shop was destroyed. It was destroyed. The entire neighborhood. Many members of my father and mother’s family were martyred. I am 8 years old and have lived through at least three wars. Where is my childhood? We now live in a tent that does not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. We do not find shelter, food, or drink. Everything is not available. My father cannot work, as his health has deteriorated due to frequent displacement. I hope that you will help me and my family to rebuild. A part of our lives that was destroyed.
