Help the ICOB Recover from Vandalism

In the early morning of October 18, 2021, the Islamic Center of Bloomington was vandalized. Our new fence was destroyed along with a new HVAC system, picnic tables, security cameras, and more. Trash and children's toys were thrown around the yard. 

 

Right away, the ICOB received an outpouring of support from all over Bloomington, both from individuals and organizations. People have expressed both concern and a desire to help. We are touched by this kindness and are so glad to find ourselves members of such a loving community.

 

With this expressed desire to help in mind, we have decided to accept donations towards covering our insurance deductible, as well as expanding and enhancing our security systems, from any who wish to be a part of our healing process.

 

For those interested in attending an event of support for the Bloomington Muslim community, keep an eye out for announcements about an event the last weekend of October.
