Help the indigenous community in Las Salinas after floodings

Hi, I am Vali and live in Nicaragua at the moment.

My neighbours, the indigenous community in Las Salinas needs your support!

After heavy rains over the past two days, the water level has risen so much tonight that the water in some houses was hip-high. The damage is big and not bearable for the people who mostly live in poverty here.

The worst: more rain is announced this week. So to the damage already happening, the people may get more really soon. That’s why need to collect NOW.

It's a mess. Foundations of many houses have been destroyed and cement has to be repoured as soon as the rains stop. Food was lost. Private household refrigerators broken. The children cannot attend school at the moment. The concept of insurance here? Let's not talk about it.

Every amount, no matter how small, helps to buy food and material to repair the houses/beds/…. The list continues. Let's gather and see what we can move!
