Help The Isaacs's with Medical Expenses & find Housing

Donation protected
Up Date: Surgery went well, but because we had to pack and move out of our home in just under 4 weeks after surgery, that after being home a week after surgery Holly developed complications ended up back in SLC at U of U for 5 Days on very strong antibiotics. She was sent home on antibiotics with open triangle shaped wound where three sections of skin meet and allot of drainage. She also developed sever edema in legs and left arm.
Currently Holly is doing a little better, no swelling in arm and some of the swelling in legs has come down, but legs are still very painful when walking or getting around, it is still draining at incision site and abdomen is still painful and hard.
We are now living in a 26ft. camper (dry camping) on the Church property, while trying to find housing in Saint Anthony.
We could still use your help. Whether it be financially, prayers, or knowing someone who has reasonable housing in Saint Anthony, Id
Thank you for all your prayers, and help. Holly and Chris

From Family
Hi! My name is Chris Isaacs, and this fundraiser is for my family, The Isaacs, of St. Anthony, Idaho. We are looking for help to cover medical expenses associated with a surgery for my wife, Holly. She has struggled with health problems since having her gallbladder removed in 2019. Complications from the surgery led to the formation of hernias and fistulas, causing significant pain and requiring ongoing medical care. Doctors have told us that the surgery Holly is planning on having in June will significantly improve her quality of life and let her get back to some level of normal activities. Unfortunately, our family is feeling the burden of mounting medical expenses, including costly supplies and numerous doctor visits. Despite having insurance, our out-of-pocket responsibility for Holly’s upcoming surgery alone is expected to exceed $25,000, which does not include the cost of transportation, out-of-area lodging, and the ongoing expenses associated with Holly’s medical supplies. Even now, we have only been able to afford Holly’s medical supplies with the use of a credit card. Without help, we could stand to lose our home due to the debt we’ve incurred due to these medical issues.

If you’re still reading, maybe you’d like to know a little more about us. I have been the pastor at the Upper Valley Bible Church of St. Anthony for nearly 23 years, and Holly was involved in childcare/teaching until her health no longer permitted her to work. We have tried to live our lives in the service of others, as the Lord has asked us to do; I volunteer at the food pantry associated with my church, as well as providing rides to members of the community and helping them where I can with maintenance and repair work on vehicles or around the house. Before becoming sick herself, Holly moved her grandmother into our home and cared for her until her passing; Holly continues to help her disabled mother where possible. We have also opened our home to our daughter and her family following our daughter’s cancer diagnosis. On the bright side, her cancer is currently in remission.

While we really don’t like the idea of asking for help, we are hoping we have earned some goodwill and might receive some assistance in this, our time of need.
