Help the James Bentley Family
Donation protected
As you may or may not know, James Bentley was hospitalized with pneumonia related to the COVID virus. He spent a week at home until finally seeking medical attention. He was admitted to the hospital on August 31st, On September 12th, he was placed on a ventilator, and is still on the ventilator today.
James is in very critical condition. He is over COVID, but due to all of the other procedures the hospital has done, one of the the things the hospital gave him is MRSA. This has caused kidney failure and has led to him needing dialysis.
His prognosis is very guarded. It's really a day to day thing. As you can imagine, his wife Cynthia, children Meredith, Morgan and Mason and grandchildren Melanie and Marshall are absolutely devastated as are the rest of their family and friends. These past 2 months have been filled with highs and lows. One day they receive a good message and the next day they receive the message they don't believe he will make it.
Many have reached out asking what they can do. James has used all PTO at this point and is now on short term disability which is only 60% of his pay. Of the 60% they have to pay their insurance premium out of pocket. Not only is the family struggling getting through James being this critical, as you can imagine bills are piling up. When James does get out of the hospital, it will be some time until he would be able to work again.
First and foremost, the family has asked for as much prayer as possible. We all know the tremendous benefit of prayer. What they can also use right now is financial help. They need to focus on getting James well and home and not the mounting bills.
If you can, please make a donation (of any amount) to help the family not have to worry about expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you in advance,
