Help the Jansen Family

Hi, all!   I'm sending this because our dear friend Tessa has had an awful string of bad luck.  Most of you probably know she bought a house out in a more rural area, and moved in this past weekend.  With the joys of moving in the rain, her moving truck didn't show up! They had to scramble (and pay extra) to find a moving truck last minute.  They HAD to be out that day as the new people were moving in the next. Then to top that off, the new more expensive movers forgot to take some of the big furniture. So they then had to rent a U-Haul.  (all this added on expenses they didn't anticipate). Tessa was happy and grateful to have last minute movers put all their belongings into the garage/workshop on their property.  This was helpful because they were trying to do some last minute improvements on the house (which are now on hold...unfinished cielings and a wall)  They moved in some things into the house, but not much. 

With this torrential rain, their garage/workshop flooded.  Everything is either damaged or ruined.  Soaked and covered in mud.   They lost their mattress, furniture, Emily's childhood favorite books, and worst of all, her husband's handmade art. To make things even worse, insurance will not cover it. 

Tessa has had so many people reach out asking how they can help and what they can do.  We're starting this gofundme so everyone that wants to help has an opportunity :)  Every dollar counts. If you have any spare change to give, the Jansen family would deeply appreciate it.

Money will go to replacing damaged and ruined items, and construction on the property to improve drainage so this doesn't happen again.
