Help the Juno family through George’s Cancer Diagnosis.

Hello, my name is Lyndsay Juno and as many of you know my husband is George Juno. George was recently diagnosed with Follicular Lymphoma Cancer after finding a huge lump on the side of his neck pretty much overnight. So far George has gotten a biopsy which confirmed it was Follicular Lymphoma Cancer. George will have to undergo a PET Scan (Positron emission tomography) in the upcoming weeks to determine if it has spread. From there George will be meeting with his oncologist to discuss his treatment plan.
So far we have been told that this is a pretty common type of cancer and that it is most likely not curable, but can be treated so people can live a healthy, long life. Once we know more, I promise to update everyone, and to keep everyone updated as best I can.
Right now we do know that George will have to undergo treatment, and that unfortunately means he will be missing a good amount of work, which he will not be getting paid for. George is the primary breadwinner of our family, and this has already started to impact us financially. Let’s be honest, shit is tough right now without having to also deal with something like this. George and I really did not want to ask for any help, especially in a monetary way, but we had to put our humility aside and realize that this is what will help us to relive some of our stresses for the foreseeable future.
We are so fortunate to know so many people that care for us that asked how they could help, and this is one way that we know will help us to continue to feed our non stop growing kids and help us to keep our bills paid while we go through this unexpected transition in life. Also, we are researching hardship programs to help in case we need it, which Im sure we will, especially with the never ending cost of everything in the world we live in.
Please, only help if you can. If you are not in a position to be able to, please take care of you and your own family first. If you are able, anything and everything we are given will go directly to bills (medical, house, you name it) and groceries.
We love you all very much, and we love each other very much, and we will get through this as a family, no matter what. As many of you witnessed almost 11 years ago on a hot Summer Day in August, George and I promised each other “in sickness and in health” and we meant it.
Thank you, everyone, so much.
If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to ask, but, please give us grace at responding. We still are both working full time, have our normal day to day life and have this added to our plate. I promise we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can.
All our love & extreme gratitude,
George, Lyndsay, Jackson, & Jameson Juno
