Help the Kari Kloos Family with Funeral Expenses

On January 1, 2019, outside of Wall, SD, Katie Kloos, 19, daughter of Kari Kloos, former Oakes resident and graduate of OHS class of 1999, was killed in a car accident.

We are starting this fund to help Kari and her family with funeral expenses and the loss of income Kari will experience while she and her family grieve the loss of Katie. 

To get them the support as quickly as possible, we are collecting through Friday, January 11, so please consider even a small donation to help out this family.

UPDATE: Katie's funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 8th at 10 am at Lutheran Memorial Church (320 E Prospect, Pierre) with burial at Riverside Cemetery. There is also a memorial fund being set up for Katie at First National Bank in Pierre, SD. 

Katie was passionate about many causes such as the environment and any money raised over and above the cost of funeral expenses will be used to give to a charity that Katie would have supported.
