Hello, friends and family!

As you all may know, Chris, the kids and I recently moved back to Minnesota from Scotland in March of 2024 and upon our arrival, I received the diagnosis that I had Clear Cell Renal Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer) in my left kidney and would have to undergo surgery down at the Mayo Clinic to remove the cancerous mass via a robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy. This surgery occurred in mid-May and it went very well. I spent most of the summer recovering and I have since had a 3-month follow-up scan and thankfully, there was no sign of cancer reoccurrence! I have been given a 99% 5-year survival rate, along with instruction to have annual scans over the next 5 years. So, as for now, I’m back in the clear! 

But the reason for this Go-Fund-Me is to help our little family catch up on  our medical bills and living expenses which - as you can imagine, have been an unexpectedly affected by all of this.  Now that I am on the road to recovery, I plan to go back to work this fall, but we are still not out of the woods yet, so any bit of help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, everyone and please continue to keep us in your prayers for a continued cancer-free road ahead.
