Help the Kepners Push Back Against Cancer

Daniel Kepner (Boone), age 61 has been married to his lovely wife Tammy for 37 years, they have two children and four grandchildren (ages 9 to newborn). Those who know Dan best would tell you he is a honest, hardworking, family man. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending his time with family and friends. He is someone always willing to help- give you the shirt off his back, but not the type to ask for help himself.

September 2023 Dan began his battle with stage 4 stomach cancer - an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. Dan went in for a routine physical where nothing alarming was show, that very same evening he returned to the Emergency Room with severe abdominal pain. Following a CT scan he then learned of a large mass in his stomach and several smaller masses on his intestines and liver.

Over the past weeks there have been numerous doctor and specialist appointments, biopsies, and procedures to confirm the diagnosis, discuss treatments options and stabilize Dan's health - there have been numerous setbacks. Dan was taken by ambulance from Crosby on Tuesday, October 17th and has been in elevated level care at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
