Help the Kilpatrick Family

For those of you who don't know them, Brian and Melissa Kilpatrick are
the parents of Lexi (9), Landon (7), and Jamison (5). 

Melissa has been struggling for several weeks with worsening back and
leg pain. Further investigation revealed the presence of a large brain
tumor. On July 12th, Melissa had surgery to remove the tumor - it was
complicated, difficult, and very hard on the brain. She made it
through, but has yet to regain consciousness.

An update from Brian on 7/21: "We are still waiting on Melissa to wake
up for us. She has been giving us small signs that give us hope that
she is moving in the right direction but the process is going to be
slower and take longer than we initially anticipated. Melissa is the
toughest woman I know, she will battle through this."

In the midst of this battle, their family dog passed away, Brian is
about to start a new job (meaning new health insurance and another
deductible to meet), and as a result the family is in the process of
moving to Maryland. Their lease is up this week and the children will
be staying with family in Maryland for the short term, while Brian
remains in RI until Melissa is able to be moved. Please consider

will go toward travel expenses to allow the children to visit their
parents, unexpected medical costs, and other expenses.
