Perrin King's medical expenses

Hey there, my name is Carmen, I am one of Perrin's tias (aunts). I am praying for your help raising money for the King family medical expenses concerning Perrin Aiden. Perrin is a kind and silly 5 (almost 6) year old boy. He is the 5th of 8 King children born to Micheal and Valori King. He is every bit as crazy as he is cuddly, Valori refers to him as her Sour Patch kid because he is sour and sweet all in one; emphasis on the sweet. Those of you who know Perrin know he has had some developmental delays when it comes to speech and behavior but lately this sweet boy has been experiencing some neurological deficits which led him on his journey to Cook Children's hospital in Fort Worth where it was discovered that it would be a long and challenging one. Perrin was diagnosed with Leukodystrophy, a disorder in which there is degeneration in the brain's white matter. Leukodystrophy can present as muscle rigidity, decrease in hearing and vision, as well as speech delays and progresses into more neurologic symptoms . Michael and Valori are supported by family and friends who love them and their family dearly, but we want to ensure that while they are unraveling the challenges of healthcare in the US they are not missing any opportunities to help their baby boy due to financial reasons.

This is why I am starting this Go Fund Me; to make sure that they focus on precious time with their family rather than focus on paying for necessary healthcare expenses for their sweet boy. Our family understands that we aren't all in the position to help financially, so we are overjoyed to receive any and all prayers, well-wishes, and good vibes sent their way. Our family wants to ensure that Perrin not only receives the care he needs and deserves but that he also gets to experience all that life has to offer while he is aware and physically able to appreciate and enjoy it.
