Help the Koenig’s grow their family

Hi friends and family!

As many of you know, Mathew and I have dipped our toes into the world of being foster parents. We have learned so much from our experiences and from other foster parents as well. We have both always had the desire to adopt, even before we were married. Now our hearts are being tugged on more than ever.  It’s time for us to follow our hearts, have faith and start this journey. Looking back at the experiences we have had as a family thus far, I know those experiences were given to us to prepare us for this journey ahead.  We are thinking about fundraisers we can do to help us financially and grants we can apply for once our home study is complete. However, there are immediate expenses for our home study (we were told $1500-$2000) and fee for our adoption consultants ($4200). We are setting up this account as a starting place to fund each step of this process. We will adjust the goal as necessary as we incur additional expenses along the way. We would really appreciate your prayers when you think about us as well. We will be as transparent as possible with all of you with finances and other parts of our journey. Thank you to our family for always supporting us! We love you!
