Help the Kopp Family fight cancer

Cancer sucks.

My dear sister-in-law has never had an easy life. At 13 her back was broken, confining her to a wheelchair for life. She didn't let that stop her from doing anything she wanted! She went to school and worked her rear off to become a court reporter. She's given the world 2 beautiful, intelligent girls. She's been supporting her family while her husband has been finishing college.

A couple of weeks ago my sister-in-law went to the doctor because she had a lump in her leg. It was just some swelling and a lump but it ended up being cancer. Out of no where she was told it had already spread and she had 4 years max to live.

They amputated her right leg today because the cancer was in her bones already. The doctors are saying she might have 1 year to live.

One year. She and my brother have been together since high school. They've been through so much and weathered every storm together. Their girls are young and now they have to tell them that mommy is going to die soon. Mommy won't be there to see them grow up. She won't be there when they graduate from school, get married or have children.

My brother is crushed, as are the whole family. He now takes care of the girls full time while trying to spend as much time with my sister even though the hospital is an hour away.

They desperately need help. The holidays are coming up... it's going to take some time for them to get back on their feet once she's gone.
