Help the Korshak Bagels Union with Covid Relief

We love bringing you bagels. We also love to ensure the health of our neighborhood and staff. We were shut down the weekend before Christmas due to a coworker testing positive for Covid. While we were fully paid for hours missed, this may not be possible a second time. This fund has been set up by our union for the inevitable hard times to come.

This fund will cover:

--one full week of lost wages for our entire staff

--weekly rapid tests for staff

As a staff, we take pride in the work we do and this fund will help us continue to do so. If we don't end up needing this fund by the end of 2022, we will donate it to the South Philadelphia Community Fridge so that they can continue to do their work nourishing the community.

Mongers: 13

Rate of Pay (incl. tips): ~$20

13 x $20 x 40hrs = $10,400

Rapid Covid tests: $25 per kit

13 x $25 = $325
