Help the Kubisiak's & Cale with Medical Expenses

Hello All

My name is Lori - I am Michelle's sister and Cale's favorite aunt ;)

 

As most of you know, Cale has had another reoccurrence of his Hodgkins Lymphoma as of February 2022. His cancer journey started in October of 2019 when a mass was found in his chest during his Freshman year attending college at UW-Madison. After many rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, a reoccurrence, more chemotherapy and an autogenic stem cell transplant - he was cancer-free for approximately a year before he found another mass on his back and more activity at the original HL mass site. The goal is for Cale to finish his spring semester at UW-Madison while going through immunotherapy treatments. The goal is that these four treatments get him into remission and the next step will be a allogenic stem cell transplant. This will keep Cale and Michelle/Joe away for possibly over two months - with Cale in the hospital and Michelle/Joe in a hotel. As you can imagine - this stay in Madison will be expensive. There are hotel bills, gas for traveling, meals for Joe/Michelle, and extended stay with the transplant for Cale.

 

Through all of this, Michelle and Joe have not wanted to ask for financial help, but after over two and a half years of this cancer journey, I am willing to ask for what they are too humble to, and that is monetary help to cover all the expenses that this journey has brought. I am hoping to raise enough for them to, at the very least, cover the 6-10 week stay down in Madison while Cale has his stem cell transplant.
